Job description
ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a full-time Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) to work onsite with a school district in Wharton, TX for the full school year of 2023-2024. New graduates and part-time candidates who can work 3 days a week will also be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations for students referred for special education services
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling services to students as needed
- Participate in school-wide programs and initiatives related to student mental health and wellness
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid LSSP license in the state of Texas
- Ability to work onsite at the school district in Wharton, TX
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other school professionals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
