OBJECTIVE:
Airline service provider seeking courteous, self-motivated, and highly dependable individuals capable of providing a SAFE and SECURE work environment under stressful situations and rigid time constraints.
DESCRIPTION:
- Safely and comfortably lift disabled passengers with assistance from one mobility device to or from an aircraft seat • Push wheelchair passengers to and from gates.
- Carry passengers’ carry-on luggage • Assist with checked and claimed luggage • Roll customer-occupied wheelchair safely down the jet bridge
- Ensure wheel brakes are in place prior to allowing passengers to exit the wheelchair • Complete any necessary wheelchair or incident reports
- Follow dispatcher gate orders • Stock needed supplies including, but not limited to, baggage tubs
- Assist passenger with any problems, questions, or concerns
- Maintain professional working relationships with fellow employees, supervisors, managers, airline employees, and airport authorities
- Have computer, tablet, or smart phone ability
- Demonstrate regular, predictable attendance at job location
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Possess a Valid driver's license.
High School Graduate or Equivalent
Be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to read, write and speak the English language effectively.
Successfully complete a ten (10) year background investigation including criminal history, FBI Fingerprinting, and pre-employment drug screening (Fenix is a Drug Free Workplace)
Authorized to work in the U.S. as defined in the Immigration Act of 1986
Safe vehicle driving record.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Required to work flexible shifts, overnight, weekends and holidays,
Able and comfortable working outside exposed to various weather conditions.
Able and comfortable work independently and within a team environment
Possess Effective communication skills. Friendly and Courteous demeanor
Able to operate within expected timelines.
