Position Overview::

We are currently seeking to immediately hire a Will Call Associate: with 1-3 years of experience to join our Buffalo :branch. As an essential business, our team is continuing to expand to meet the growing demands of our customers.

Responsibilities::

• Provide quality customer service through knowledge and use of internal systems.
• Pick and fulfill orders generated by sales staff in an accurate and timely manner for customer pick up.
• Solicit sales from walk-in and telephone call-in customers assisting customers with identification of product needs.
• Accurately complete and file all required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Research information to assist customers using inventory management system.
• Wrap purchases and helps customers load merchandise into their vehicles.
• Provide warehouse support for shipping & receiving, inventory stocking, cleaning, labeling, and other tasks as assigned.
• Maintain stock on shelves/racks in sales area and ensure merchandise is kept neatly. Restock merchandise as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain cleanliness procedures as set forth by management.
• Keep product line knowledge updated and current.

Qualifications::

• 1-3 years of shipping, receiving, order selection, packing and/or stocking of products is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle customer issues as they arise.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Willing and able to operate material handling equipment.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple issues at the same time, without stress.

Preferred Qualifications::

• Forklift training preferred, but not required. We provide internal training for all warehouse employees.
• Product knowledge with plumbing and electrical material highly desired.

Work Environment/Physical Demands::

• This job operates between our sales counter and a high traffic warehouse that is exposed to outdoor weather conditions. This position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time as well as the ability to lift 50-75 pounds. While mainly standard hours are scheduled for this position, flexibility is required to be able to ensure all orders and job duties are completed by end of shift.
