Position: IT Systems Engineer Windows

Location: Multiple Locations (Mention Below)

Duration: 12 Months Contract Initially

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Locations are Canonsburg/Pittsburgh, PA / Miami, FL / Marlboro, MA / Houston, TX.
• This is a remote position, however the candidate needs to be located in one of the following locations, as they will need to be able to go on-site for Data Center issues. The resource may need to go on-site at any time of the day and on any day of the week. This is a 24x7 environment. Provide 24x7 on-call support in a predefined rotation.
• The Systems Engineer role is to optimize Windows servers and Active Directory components to achieve high availability and performance of IIS, Load Balancers, SSL Certificates, and various business applications supported.
• This includes designing, installing, configuring, administering, and fine-tuning Windows operating systems and Active Directory Infrastructure across the organization in a timely and efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Maintain Microsoft IIS Web Servers, Active Directory, Domain Name Services (DNS), Domain Controllers, and VMware
• Manage SSL certificates and work with numerous application support teams to renew certificates in a timely manner
• Provide support for Load Balancers
• Support Authentication & Authorization for custom built application
• Support Sign On (SSO) configurations with Azure AD and Azure MFA
• Support M365, including Exchange Online and Intune
• Troubleshooting Email delivery and client connectivity, message tracking, Security policy configuration in Defender ATP, email search and purge, etc
• Support Windows servers deployed On-Prem, in Azure, and in AWS
• Support application development teams throughout project lifecycles.
• Perform daily system operations tasks to verify system integrity and availability.

EDUCATION/ SKILLS REQUIRED

• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience with three (3) years of operational experience in applicable field
• Specific knowledge of multiple Windows Server platform(s) as well as the various versions of IIS
• Ability to automate repeating tasks using scripting using PowerShell or tools
• Expertise in Office 365 Administration and Implementation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58.20 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)
