Tri-County Health Care (TCHC) has a
Full-Time XR/CT Radiologic Technologist position open at the Wadena Campus. Serving patients for more than 90 years, Tri-County Health Care is a private, not-for-profit health care system that offers care to Todd, Wadena and Otter Tail counties. With Joint Commission accreditation and a full range of inpatient and outpatient primary and specialty services, TCHC strives every day to achieve its mission of improving the health of the communities it serves.
This position is full-time; 72 hours per pay period, with overnight shifts every Wednesday and Thursday 7pm - 7am, and every other weekend Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 11pm - 7am. Responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to:
- Determine appropriate anatomical posture and position for optimal safety and shielding
- Program portable or stationary x-ray machines and make radiographs for a variety of examinations
- Review images on PACS and send to proper radiologist workstations
- Practice medical and surgical aseptic procedures
- Assist in maintaining records and reports
Competencies Required Include:
- Strong interpersonal skills with all levels of the organization
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills for necessary systems
- Understanding of the healthcare continuum, including sites of care, delivery models, and the roles of various providers
Education and Experience Required:
- Formal training in an AMA approved school for Registered Radiologic Technologists
- 1-2 years in a hospital setting performing X-ray
- Experience performing CT
Immunization requirements include: MMR, Hepatitis B (based on the position), Tdap, Varicella, Influenza, COVID-19.
