Scrap yard in Henry County,Locust Grove is looking for a ferrous manager
Duties and responsibilities
Manage and oversee all production of the ferrous yard - Includes:
Working with yard personal and laborers to process and ship material
unloading inbound trucks with material
loading trucks with finished product to ship out
Weighing and grading peddler scrap coming in
Separating the non ferrous items from the steel piles
Processing stainless steel and oversize scrap
Managing the shear crane operation
Responsible for safety in the yard
Working with other managers from other yards
Cmmunicating with dispatch
opening and closng the yard
Profit and loss of the yard
Salary will be discussed in person or on the phone
Must have scrap experience and knowledge of ferrous material and processing
