D & T Imports, Inc. (dba Area 51 Fireworks) is a premier and leading fireworks company with retail and wholesale stores in Pahrump, Nevada, West Chesterfield, New Hampshire and Fort Mill, South Carolina.

The Area 51 Fireworks store, located in Pahrump, Nevada, is hiring Seasonal Yard Workers. The position is responsible for various day-to-day operational duties outlined below.

Position Summary:

• Assist with shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, and verifying inventory.
• Sort and place (on and off) merchandise/materials items from containers onto pallets.
• Verifying product/merchandise orders with customers for accuracy; assist customers with loading product inside their vehicles.
• Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Assist with physical inventory count(s).
• Unload shipping containers, move various products and merchandise from the yard to warehouse and restocking store shelves.
• General cleaning and maintenance to ensures the "yard" is kept clean and free of garbage and debris.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, containers, pallet area, and workstations neat, sweep, dust, and mop.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age

High School Diploma or General Education Equivalent (GED) preferred but not required

OSHA 10 preferred but not required

Forklift Certified preferred but not required

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work outdoors and in various climate conditions.

Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.

Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.

Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.

Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color, vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
