Key Responsibilities:

• Positively assist with the customer experience on a daily basis at Hayden Machinery.
• Ability to respond to questions via phone calls or text messages in a timely manner.
• Check in/out equipment in a timely manner to ensure rent schedules are met.
• Preventative maintenance, machine inspections, and general upkeep of equipment.
• Operation of machinery in order to inspect and repair, or confirm completion of inspection.
• Work safely according to Hayden Machinery’s Employee handbook and Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines (OSHA).
• Flexibility in work type and duties. Working well as part of a team.
• Cleans assigned work areas inside and outside of the property.
• Keeps the yard picked up, organized, and kept in a professional and presentable manner.
• Picks up trash and debris around the yard.
• Performs basic landscaping duties including, weeding, and mowing.
• Occasionally works in the wash bay or details cabs as needed
• Parts runner as needed.
• Assist technicians with shop cleanup and operating equipment in a safe manner for or during repairs.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
• Intermediate technology skills including, typing/data entry, and email/text

• Maintains high standards for work areas and appearance.

• Ability to operate tools and equipment used in general maintenance and grounds work.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift objects up to 75lbs
• Ability to stand/stoop for extended periods
• Ability to climb, reach, grasp, bend, twist frequently
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
