PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Responsible for providing supervision of the computer lab and computer assistance to youth

ages 6-18.

KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities):

• Assist youth in the use of computers and appropriate software, ensuring the proper use of computer equipment.
• Introduce basic computer, keyboard, and internet skills to youth
• Prepare teaching materials and learning activities as directed.
• Monitor activities and behaviors of youth during computer lab to ensure the physical and environmental safety of the youth
• Delivers age-appropriate programs and activities to club members.
• Tracks participant attendance.
• Encourages youth to participate in programs and activities.
• Maintains safe and respectful behavior of members.
• Reports and records any incidents that occur with members.
• Provides statistical data and narrative evaluation of the program to the Program Director

· Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

· High School Diploma or GED equivalent

· Knowledge of computer hardware and softwareoperations, computer operating systems, andcomputer terminology.

· Experience working with youth ages 6-18 in a recreational or educational environment focusing on computers.

· Good verbal and written communication skills required

· Familiarity with theMicrosoft office suite

· Bilingual English/Spanish skills area plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
