Azure Summit Technology provides a wide range of multi-channel, software-defined radio solutions for applications including surveillance, communications, radar, direction finding, emitter location, and interference cancellation. What will you do?

Azure Summit Technology is currently seeking a Systems Engineer. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team. This position is located at our facility in Fairfax, VA, with occasional overnight travel to our office in Melbourne, FL and/or other locations as needed to support customer activities. Your future team has worked together to produce the following job description:

The selected candidate will be responsible for design, development, modification, and evaluation of complex signals intelligence, radar, and communications prototype development systems. The candidate will be instrumental in the system engineering and advanced research and development associated with designing of products during pre-delivery design, integration, and acceptance. Duties will include technical responsibility for planning and executing technical programs, projects, or phases of projects to include customer interface, requirements development, design reviews, and technical interchanges, and all aspects of prototype/product system design, development, demonstration, and evaluation.

Basic Requirements

• US citizenship, due to the nature of the work and contract requirement
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, another relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with network services and networks such as TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP or EIGRP
• Minimum 3 years’ experience developing and implementing server infrastructure, virtual environments or cloud technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI Clearance
• Certification, Network+, CCNA, CCNP or CompTIA
• Masters’ degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or another relevant field
• Experience leading development and integration of prototype and/or production RF mission systems
• Experience leading development and integration of RF mission payloads into manned and/or unmanned airborne platforms
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills
