SUMMARY:
The TFC Marketing & Communications department is looking for a part time accounts coordinator to assist in growing and cultivating strong business relationships. They will serve as a liaison with our members/clients and develop creative marketing strategies and solutions. The ideal applicant will have experience with Microsoft Office, have a keen attention to detail, ability to multi-task and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Agriculture experience a plus! College students with applicable skills will be considered.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred. Will consider college student with applicable skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills.
- Must be good at multi-tasking, managing timelines, and attention to details.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Background in and/or understanding of agriculture, preferred.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Serves as liaison with member Co-ops, joint venture companies, and other clients as needed to coordinate marketing activities and grow business.
- Assists with growing and cultivating strong business relationships with clients. Learns clients’ business and assists account executives as they help clients develop creative marketing strategies/solutions to better serve customers.
- Works with team to develop marketing strategies and coordinate production of marketing collateral and activities.
- Supports Marketing Communications Team to ensure consistent customer service and goal completion.
- Assists with servicing client accounts, including upselling and making recommendations.
- Identifies opportunities to grow business with customers and operates as point of contact for assigned customers.
- Supports account executives and long-term relations with accounts.
- Manages multiple projects while meeting deadlines and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrates strong communication skills throughout the entire organization.
- Helps track results of marketing efforts for use in reporting successes
- Some overnight travel is required.
