Job description
We are looking for an Account Manager - Sales Representative (AMSR) for our Indian Trail, NC location.
The Account Manager - Sales Representative will be responsible for:
- Business development of our preventative maintenance/service contract product
- Constant contact with the present core customer base
- Development of new customers to become eagerly dependent on the array of commercial building services offered
- The key role is interacting with new and existing clients and schedule sales appointments via self-generated leads.
- Due to the nature of the services offered, one-call closes are rare. In most cases fostering long-term client relationships will become the basis of personal success and the long-term growth of the company.
We are seeking:
- The AMSR must be an ambitious, driven and highly energetic individual with an interest in running their own sales territory.
- Must be highly detail oriented with solid organizational, time-management and multi-tasking skills.
- Must have excellent verbal along with written communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have the ability to easily establish rapport with a wide variety of clients.
- The best candidate for this position should exhibit a strong “hunter" mentality
- Must possess solid follow-up and client management skills
- Existing BOMA / IFMA affiliation is a major plus.
This Account Manager - Sales Representative is the tip of the spear representing a dedicated and professional service management team in which you will work alongside, coordinate with and synchronize your efforts with industry professionals both in our local office and many of our offices throughout the country where our customer base may have presence outside of the focal service area.
Requirements:
- High school or GED; 4-year degree preferred
- Sales experience or familiarity with the sales process strongly preferred, especially with focus in the commercial building services industry and property management
- Commercial Roofing knowledge specifically and exterior moisture protection assembly a major plus
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Degree in Business, Communications, Construction, Marketing or management a plus
- Prior Commercial Property Management sales experience recommended
- Proven track record of client retention a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
