Job summary
The Accounting Specialist actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the franchise/customer experience.
You will
- Centralized timely and accurately handling of commercial Invoicing daily.
- New client rolls out in coordination with account manager.
- Audit the direct clients in job file audit and Great Plains.
- Account maintenance and compliance on all clients
- Track in Excel all invoicing procedures by client as to what is needed per their request.
- Knowledgeable on all work order systems that require uploads for invoicing.
- Work with Salesforce to get account process for client requests.
- Prepare IH invoicing for managed accounts.
- Run any special smart list excel reports required by national accounts and commercial clients.
- Be the liaison between commercial accounts managers, commercial clients, and the franchises.
- Balance accounts and audit jobs and research unpaid claims.
- Prepare any necessary schedules and run reports required at year-end for the annual audit.
- Assist with special accounting projects as assigned.
- Responsible for keeping the Policy & Procedures for position accurate and up to date.
You have
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and a minimum of one (1) year experience required.
- A minimum of one (1) year customer service experience is required.
- Great Plains experience a plus.
- 2 Years’ experience in accounting.
- Strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills.
- Highly organized, attention to detail and proficient in multi-tasking
- Ability to provide thorough reports and documentation of multiple activities.
- Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, etc.
- Must be flexible with high reliability and able to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Exercise independent decision-making skills and judgement with minimal to moderate supervision.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
