Job description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team of Accounts Payable Clerk. This position is responsible for the receipt, review and processing of invoices and statements. The right candidate will have an excellent work ethic and good phone etiquette, as they will be required to speak and answer questions on the phone often. This position will allow you to use your skills in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and efficiency is necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain records of company transactions, usually with a computer.
- Perform clerical or administrative duties, such as filing and answering telephone calls.
- Maintain supplies; process payments for vendors, including bank check payments.
- Negotiate with vendors to settle delinquent accounts.
- Prepare checks to pay bills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
