As a full-time Hattie Larlham Activity Assistant / Recreation Specialist, you will plan and coordinate tasks related to games, movies, crafts, music, and other recreation including field trips into the community while earning great benefits like low-cost health insurance, generous paid time off, and flexible scheduling for work-life balance.

Opening:

• Full-Time Recreation Assistant
• Schedule: You must be available to work a part-time flex schedule with a core shift from 1:00pm - 9:30pm, variable days of the week and every other weekend is required.
• Location: Mantua, OH in northern Portage County, less than 10 minutes from the I-480 exit in Streetsboro.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree in recreation therapy, education, or related field preferred.
• Prior experience working with people with developmental disabilities or special needs is preferred.
• Ohio Driver's License and ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen in order to drive a Hattie Larlham vehicle.
• Have the ability to become certified in First Aid, CPR, and as a Shallow Water Lifeguard - free training is provided!
