Essential Functions
Teaches assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi. Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students. Fosters a safe and civil learning environment. Informs students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies. Monitors, evaluates, and documents student attendance, progress and competency attainment.
Required Qualifications
Associate degree or diploma in subject area or AWS certification.* (IEMT degree will count), OR completion of a DOL recognized apprenticeship in steamfitters-plumbers, boilermakers, iron workers, millwrights, or sheet metal, pipefitters (with relevant material experience).
3 years non-teaching related work experience.
