Job Summary:
Under limited direction, this position is accountable for contributing to the efficiency of departmental operations for our Cyber Security program and team through the performance of various administrative functions. This position reports to an officer of the company and may provide leadership to the departmental administrative team.
  • Handle and disperse appropriate matters (i.e. email, memos, inquiries) to conserve officers time or organize such material for the officer to expedite resolution.
  • Provide the officer with complete and timely background information on all telephone calls and correspondence
  • Inform officers staff or other parties of relevant information as appropriate
  • Handle highly confidential information with prudence and care
  • Manage preparation of materials for executive level meetings, conferences and forums such as:
  • Content development for Power Point decks and presentations
  • Prepare and manage complex correspondence and memos such as:
    • Creating program training material documentation
    • Building organizational charts and documentation
  • Perform administrative duties such as typing, filing, scheduling, calendar management, travel arrangements, etc.
  • Research and analyze information and prepare reports, as appropriate
  • Obtain information, status reports, or answers on various business matters, inquiries or projects as directed
  • May serve as liaison/coordinator for special projects or workgroups
  • Plan and coordinate departmental events
Required
Education and Experience:
  • High School or equivalent diploma required, Associates/Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Requires minimum five (5) years of prior administrative experience.
Must have advanced knowledge and experience in:
  • MS office tools and Outlook
  • Requires excellent typing skills
  • Requires excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Requires excellent organizational skills
  • Requires excellent interpersonal skill
Hybrid Role- in Newark office 1-2 Days per week
Salary Range:
$53,500 - $71,610
This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. This range has been created in good faith based on information known to Horizon at the time of posting. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case.
