Basic Function and Responsibilities:

At the direction of the ECE Grants Manager, provide administrative and office support services to the ECE Grants Manager, ECE Mentor/Coaches and ECE Chair pertaining to ECACE grant activity. Exercise independent judgment in the use of confidential information based on established college policies and procedures.

Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the ECE Grants Manager as well as ECE Coaches/Mentors, and ECE Chair pertaining to ECACE grant activity, at the direction of the ECE Grants Manager.
  • Maintain records and files, both electronic and paper, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Compile, analyze, prepare and distribute reports, correspondence, and other documents as needed.
  • Assist with the purchasing of materials, inventory, distribution, etc. as related to ECACE grant activities.
  • Assist with budget tracking and processing financial transactions.
  • Assist with event planning and coordination, including scheduling and logistical support.
  • Assist with outreach and marketing activities to community stakeholders by drafting, sending, and responding to emails related to ECACE grant activities.
  • Schedule and manage appointments, meetings, and conferences.
  • Greet and assist visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to emails in a timely manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:


Qualifications and Working Conditions:

  • An Associate Degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience from which similar ability can be acquired is necessary.
  • One year general administrative and office support experience is required
  • Ability to utilize a keyboard to enter, retrieve and manipulate data is required.
  • Advanced word processing (Microsoft Word preferred) and intermediate spreadsheet application (Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets) skills are required.

Physical Demands:

Light lifting up to 10 lbs. and light carrying up to 10 lbs. Ability to reach above shoulder. Periods of time spent sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, bending and stooping. Mobility to move from building to building on-Campus and to visit off-Campus entities. Work is performed in a general office environment and is sedentary in nature. Little or no exposure to adverse working conditions.

HOURS: Monday - Friday 8:15 am - 5:00 pm

SALARY: $43,924
