What You’ll Do

  • Perform requirements gathering, functional and technical design, development, testing, deployment of system configuration

  • Maintain and configure Absence Plans, Time Entry Templates, Time Calculations, Time Entry Codes, Eligibility Rules, Accrual Calculations, Business Processes, Custom Reports, Calculated Fields, and EIBs

  • Gather requirements, design, prototype, and testing of Workday Absence and/or Time Tracking solutions according to customer requirements

  • Maintain and configure Benefits setups like Core benefits configuration (groups, plans, rates, etc.),Benefit events setup, Enrollment event processing, Passive events, Evidence of insurability, Open enrollment

  • Maintain and configure Benefits groups, plans, coverage levels, eligibility, business processes, open enrollment, Enrollment Data Conversion and the Affordable Care Act

  • Maintain and configure Workday Learning key features, establish business processes to access and assign training based on, e.g., job description, position, location, and/or tags

  • Determine appropriate system configuration of the LMS based on business requirements and manages subsequent changes as business needs change to maintain best practice.

  • Provide new and innovative alternative solutions to LMS application challenges when appropriate. Responsible for developing, testing and deploying new solutions to the LMS.

  • Ensure systems quality and data accuracy via regular audits of data; adheres to all change management and SOX controls for proper process and protocols.

  • Collaborate with other HRIS Analysts to ensure smooth transition of all HCM business processes between LMS and other HCM functional areas. Serves as a backup for other HCM functional areas as needed.

  • Configure and build Workday Studio Integrations for Benefit Vendors

Qualifications

  • Workday Absence and Time Tracking Certification (Preferred)

  • Workday Benefits Certification (Preferred)

  • B.S or B.A in Computer Science or related technical field (or equivalent experience) preferred. Workday Certifications is a plus

  • 4+ years of Workday HCM experience, report writing and integrations

  • 3+ years of Workday functional implementation experience, highly desired

  • 1-2 Years of Workday Absence/TT implementation experience with a Workday partner (REQUIRED)

  • Require 2-3 Years Workday Benefits implementation experience preferably with a Workday partner

  • Require 2-3 Years Workday Learning implementation experience preferably with a Workday partner

  • Good knowledge of Time Tracking, Absence Management, Benefits and Learning module.

  • Workday integrations experience required with a good understanding of integration design and testing concepts and integration frameworks (e.g., middleware, transformation logic)

  • Knowledge of all phases of system development lifecycle, including production support

  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication with a focus on documentation, presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Strong customer service focus, responsiveness and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, especially with virtual geographically diverse teams

  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively while demonstrating a sense of urgency

  • Ability to produce accurate work under pressure with frequent deadlines

  • Creative and resourceful approach to the business and an ability to think and deliver creative value-added solutions to business through self-initiative and ownership
