Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Job Summary: The Analyst II, Business Analysis And Insights - Event Manager role is responsible for coordinating all of the moving parts involved in ensuring events go smoothly, including choosing venues, catering services, event scheduling, and partnering with travel and business partners. They plan and coordinate all the details before and after the event and handle day-of logistics.

About the Team: Facilities Services - Learning, development, and ops support events team is a high functioning team that supports multiple trade specific training programs and aid as a support to the field and cross functional business partners.

What You'll do:
  • Serves as a primary contact for assigned portions training events.
  • Manages the communication and schedule coordination.
  • Participates in identifying, contacting, and confirming program speakers and trainers.
  • Serves as a liaison between business/ program owners, and speakers, trainers - providing information / updates of planning details.
  • Manages relationships with vendor partners, hotels, catering, travel agency.
  • Sources and negotiates hotel and training venues.
  • May be assigned to develop and monitor budget for assigned event(s).
  • Participates in and recruits members for event planning committees; works collaboratively as a member of the committee for each assigned event; participates in the selection, coordination, planning and execution of sessions for assigned events and executes event planning details.
  • Oversees and coordinates program logistics involving production schedules, facilities, system access, program development, registration and invitee - follow up.
  • Provides on-site quality customer service, troubleshooting, and public relations with attendees, speakers and participants during events; may be required to assist with setting up, operating and troubleshooting audio visual equipment, and related programs while on-site; may be required to create scripts and slides; ensures programs stay on track, speakers are prepared, and sessions remain on schedule.
  • Performs a variety of follow up duties after an event; finalizes financial costs, submit and process invoices, update feedback survey, provide training credit to attendees, host training retrospective with business / program owners.
  • Participates in and assists with the RFP process in selecting future event locations, class room sourcing, provides input on venue selection, spatial requirements, and other event related items.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in business, HR, or event management or 2 years of equivalent experience in related field
