Chemist – 3rd Shift

We’re seeking a self-starter, dynamic Analytical Chemist to join our client’s dynamic team reporting to the Analytical Lab Manager. Responsibilities:

• Utilize a range of software, techniques and equipment to carry out research and analysis.
• Design and execute experimental procedures, including qualitative and quantitative testing of complex samples.
• Design sampling protocols.
• Prepare standards, reagents, and solvents for experiments.
• Analyze and interpret data from research and analysis.
• Prepare reports identifying samples, explaining testing methods, documenting findings, and outlining conclusions of analyses.
• Perform routine maintenance of equipment and daily quality control testing of analytical methods.
• Calibrate laboratory equipment according to maintenance schedules.
• Validate and troubleshoot analytical methods.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or similar science (required)
• A master's degree or Ph.D. (highly preferred)
• 3-5 years’ experience in a QA lab with instrumentation (HPLC / GC) preferred!

• Countryside, IL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

• CGMP: 1 year (Preferred)
• High-performance liquid chromatography: 2 years (Preferred)
