Overview:
Haskell’s Design & Consulting Team unites architecture, engineering, and consulting professionals from across industries and geographies. While some clients are looking for turnkey design-build or engineer-procure-construct projects, The Design & Consulting Team serves clients who need specialized, fee-for-service design or consulting projects. These types of projects allow our team to form a strong rapport with client teams, marshaling them as they grow and helping them address industry and market challenges. The Design & Consulting Team serves four primary markets: Government, primarily the Department of Defense, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Air and Army National Guard, and the U.S. Naval Facilities Command; Industrial, focusing on food and beverage, consumer products, and utilities; Civil Infrastructure; and Healthcare.
In this role, you will be responsible for supervising the production of the construction documents and ensuring their technical accuracy and coordination with other disciplines with a focus on the healthcare industry.
Job Responsibilities:
While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and scheduling projects with a budget of up to $10 million and keep the PM’s informed of any issues relating to the project
- Ensure the design and technical quality of the project meet the company's standards and the firm's technical and graphic standards are met
- Maintain project-related documentation
- Respond to Bid Phase inquiries and required addenda
- Assist the Construction Administrator during the construction phase in responding to questions and clarifications
Education/Experience:
- A degree from an accredited school of architecture
- Up to 5 years of experience following registration
Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications:
- Licensed architect
- Knowledgeable in the applicable building codes, CAD, and Revit proficient with a working knowledge of word processing, scheduling, and spreadsheet software
- Technical design experience and oversight of construction documentation
- Ability to coordinate different sub consulting trades (Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) on a project
- Experience reviewing shop drawings and responding to RFIs
- Working knowledge of Revit and the ability to generate CDs in Revit
- Working knowledge of specifications
- LDS Temple experience is a bonus
