HELP WANTED/ MOTORCYCLE INDUSTRY

Core Moto is looking for a new team member to join our staff.

We are an aftermarket motorcycle parts manufacturer located in Titusville FL. Manufacturing of stainless brake hoses and Forged aluminum wheels. This is a product assembly job, not a mechanic position.

We are currently looking for 1-2 qualified persons with attention to detail and quality standards to work in our hydraulic motorcycle brake line assembly department. In this position you will build custom high quality brake lines to custom order using pre set specifications for the application. This also require making modifications to the assembly options as each order specifies. This is light duty custom assembly, not assembly line work. Each assembly is slightly different and requires attention to detail. All assembly areas are air conditioned year round.

This is a permanent full time opportunity starting at $18/hour to evaluate if the employee can perform the job and meet the base level of production. Following pay rate increases are based on a steady proven performance metric based on average daily units, job performance accuracy. Attendance, reliability and ability to work with others are an important factor. This is not a fast paced production environment, rather a detailed steady production environment.

40+ hours per week 9am-5pm Monday-Friday ( overtime offered when needed)

1 hour paid lunch 12-1 plus two additional 15 min breaks.

1 week accrued paid vacation per year after 1 year .

Personal Requirements and duties.
Experience with assembly of small components (i.e. Small Parts Sub Assembly) preferred

Knowledge of Sportbike and Motocross brands, models, parts and applications is preferred but not required.

Must possess strong attention to detail and quality.

Must be able to communicate well with others and take direction well.

Employee MUST be able to stand and work with hands for a complete 8 hour shift.

MUST have reliable transportation and be able to work Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.

Attendance: The employee must have reliable attendance. Days and time off must be scheduled.

Must be able to follow operating procedures, standards and directions to specific guide lines per assembly. Monitor and verify quality of each Production operation using visual inspection, basic measurement devices and test equipment. Record data from tests and finished operations. Must be able to Handle some problem solving as many of our orders are custom assemblies.

Will be required to manage and clean work area. Inspect and report Inventory of personal work area regularly.

Use of basic hand tools, measuring instruments and hydraulic swage machine will be involved in the assembly process.

While the position is defined, all staff will be required to assist in stocking and prepping of supplies, and or helping out wherever is needed to support operations as needed.
