Assistant Coach of Men’s Basketball

Kentucky Wesleyan College, a private, liberal arts college with a long-standing reputation for
quality and academic excellence, is seeking applications for a full-time, year-round Assistant
Coach for men’s basketball. Kentucky Wesleyan is a NCAA Division II institution and a
member of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).

Major Responsibilities

• Assisting with the instruction of student athletes in basketball.
• Teaching the rules, fundamentals, skill development, and strategies for basketball.
• Assisting with the instruction of student athletes on sport-related topics, including

student athletes.

Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience. College-level coaching experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree preferred.
• Certified in First Aid, CPR, AED.
• Effective interpersonal communication and relationship skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and enthusiastically with others.
