Tudor Oaks Senior Living, an American Baptist Homes of the Midwest community, is looking to hire an assistant director of culinary services to help our culinary team provide excellent service to our valued residents.

Pay is based on experience and includes a $1,000 sign on bonus.

This is a day shift position with rotating weekends. No late nights!

As the Assistant Director of Culinary Services for our upscale private fine dining facility, you will be a member of a talented culinary team.

• Initiates cleaning and proper rotation of all food items in coolers and freezers.
• Controls and update all chemical sheets, temp sheets for all refrigeration units. Organize repairs, and records logs on repairs and general mantainence. For all satellite kitchen areas.
• In service and council employees on proper sanitation/hand washing when needed.
• Maintains proper dating and labeling of food items. (correct/council when needed)
• Assists in diet card changes or any other resident related changes/updates working with PT or Nurse.
• Involved in employee discipline/counseling or write ups.

What you will need:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Graduate from an accredited culinary program, or equivalent experience is desired.
• 1 year prior kitchen experience at minimum
• Covid-19 vaccination or approved exemption is required to work in our healthcare setting
