Job description

Description: Qualified candidate will assist Foreperson in day-to-day operations in Production at our Cottage Grove, MN location. Will collaborate closely with Growers, Inventory and Cooler employees to achieve desired results.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee, train, develop and monitor crew leaders.
• Organize work plan for crews.
• Ensure crew leaders have proper tools and information needed for workflow to be safe and efficient.
• Direct supervision of crews.
• Accurately record and submit numbers and locations of all plant movement.
• Track and monitor inventory supplies.
• Enforce safety protocols.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, tractors, and conveyors.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Effective communication skills.
• Supervisory experience.
• Experience operating forklifts, tractors and conveyors
• Ability to create a positive teamwork environment.
• Ability to assess and implement improvements to efficiency, quality, and safety
• Attention to detail.
• Must be able to adapt to frequent changes.
• Ability to learn computer skills.
