ASSISTANT PLANNER
The City of Laconia Planning Department provides guidance and support to our growth as a city. The department is overseeing many new and exciting projects already underway or in the initial stages. Our department is actively involved with the state school property redevelopment and regional planning within the Lakes Region. We are seeking a highly motivated qualified individual that will help plan and develop our city and grow with us. Our ideal candidate needs to have great communication skills to work with various Commissions, Committees and Boards. Not only will you immediately perform responsible technical and professional functions in the department but there is also growth potential with the opportunity to soon be considered for the Director’s position. Salary range: $51,288.64 - $72,484.88
(starting salary will be based on qualifications and is currently under review)

Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited four-year college and one year of progressively responsible professional experience in the field of Community Development, Planning or related profession, OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.
