Position Description:
Leadership, direction, and general supervision of all aspects of the Human Resources operation, serving over 4000 full and part-time employees

Qualifications:
- NYS SDA/SDL Certification
- Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification
- A minimum of three years as a Central Office administrator, preferably in Human Resources
- Demonstrated experience in advancing diversity and inclusion efforts within complex organizational structures
- Experience creating and managing a warm, welcoming, and affirming working environment
- Personal qualities of integrity, honesty, credibility, and dedication to the mission of ESBOCES
- Proven ability to create and sustain a culture of collaboration and empowerment
- A background in engaging all stakeholders to develop and implement successful systems and processes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to present to large audiences of various internal and external stakeholder groups, with an understanding of adult learning
- Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate programs and monitor progress over time for reflection and action by stakeholders
- Background in negotiations and labor management
- Knowledge of education law, labor law, and the Civil Service system
- Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential records and information
Salary Range:
Minimum starting salary $200,000 (per non-represented guidelines)
