Assistant Manager

A premier car wash company in Mount Airy, NC is seeking a full time Assistant Manager to help operate our multi-million dollar location. The Assistant Manager would have the responsibility of running the day to day operations of an express tunnel car wash that includes but is not limited to:

Recruit, develop and motivate teams to deliver the company's vision, customer experience and financial strategies for the store.

Ensure training of team members and evaluate team member performance and set goals.

Promote sales, manage expenses, and maximize profitability.

Maintain a neat, clean, and organized overall site appearance at each location.

Oversee preventative maintenance programs.

Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.

Ensure adherence and compliance with all established policies, procedures and processes.

Responsible for ensuring a professional appearance and attitude at all times.

Ideal candidate is someone who:

Has previously held a management role.

Is not a desk person but who likes being on their feet and interacting with people.

Likes working in an outdoor environment year round.

Someone who can work 40-45 hours per week including weekends.

Skills:

High school education or equivalent; some college preferred.

Knowledge of the car wash business preferred but not required.

Previous management experience.

Mechanical aptitude

Proven leadership skills

Strong communication skills

Must have reliable transportation.

Must be able to lift at least 75lbs.

Must be able to work weekends.
