Job description

Small law firm in Uptown Charlotte seeking to hire an attorney that is licensed to practice law in the state of North Carolina. Ideally, we are looking for an applicant with at least 3 years of experience in criminal, family and/or juvenile litigation, but it is not required. Our firm practices in the following areas: criminal defense, juvenile law, family law, some civil litigation, and abuse, neglect, & dependency law.

Applicant must be a motivated, energetic, and self-starter with a positive attitude. Must exhibit strong time management and organization skills. They must be able to quickly establish relationships with clients, office staff and court personnel. Applicant must be computer savvy with a working knowledge of basic software. Must have the ability to analyze facts, identify key legal issues and conduct necessary legal research. Must be able to plan, develop, and execute creative litigation strategies. They must be able to express complex legal concepts, arguments, and conclusions in a clear, concise and logical manner. Salary depends on experience.
