Associate Director, Outpatient Behavioral Health Services
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of administrative and financial accountability tasks for out-patient behavioral health.
- Provide clinical oversight for clinical programming and service delivery for respective site location.
- Close coordination with IT team to ensure EHR systems are being utilized and developed as appropriate for service functioning, and active support to staff in maintaining recording compliance
- Leadership role in collaboration with Labor Management representation
- Contribute administrative and/or clinical insight for cases and service emphasis for the agency, in keeping with evidenced-based practices.
- Serve as an administrator providing consultation for staffing and/or meetings.
- Provide direct supervision and oversight to designated staff
- Collaboration with Sr. Dir for accreditation and COA compliance
- Coordinate and collaborate with Office admins regarding billing.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain budget for department in coordination with the Sr. Director
- Assist agency leadership on various projects/responsibilities as they arise.
- Participate in agency committees for various projects
- Member of the Clinical Panel
- Collaborate, coordinate, and document processes and procedures that pertain to Out-patient behavioral health services.
- Performs related work as required or assigned.
- Represent JCFS and its programs in a positive manner to both internal and external contacts.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- MSW, MED, or related social services graduate degree from an accredited college.
- At least eight years’ practice in a social service agency, including advanced clinical experience and at least four years of supervisory responsibility.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent administrative skills.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- As this position requires visits to locations which may or may not be accessible by public transportation, must be able to drive, have a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable access to a vehicle to travel in the Chicago metropolitan area.
New hires would need to be fully vaccinated with 1 or 2 doses and booster and provide their card upon hire OR begin receiving the booster within 2 weeks of being hired and participate in weekly COVID testing until fully vaccinated OR provide documentation for an ADA or religious exemption and participate in weekly COVID testing.
