Who You Are and What You’ll Do
The Associate Finance Manager - Supply Chain Materials AFM is a part of the Supply Chain Finance Excellence Team (NA SC FET). This role is fully responsible for Material Results Management and driving the digital agenda for the NA Supply Chain FET. The role will have a high exposure to the Materials P&L and will be business partnering with the Unilever Procurement Organization.
Provide support on Material month results decks – Help to build decks for key Material meetings with Leadership (Results review, S&OP, Global reviews, etc.)
Drive Digital agenda – Acts as the Lead for the Digital Agenda in Supply Chain FET Organization including the creation Power BI reports, change management, driving Agile principles, decks automation and simplification of processes
KPI Dashboard Management – Responsible for running monthly Materials KPI Dashboard which includes up to 15 KPIs and provide comprehensive analytics on the drivers (Act vs. PY, Act vs. FC). Provide visibility on monthly results to Procurement category managers and supporting them on daily basis.
Month End Close – Lead month end activities and provide pre-liminary view on month end results for Materials (running pre-close models, gate keeper for risk & opportunities files, etc.) and improve Forecast bias. Partner with FET peers based in North America to drive one-team agenda despite different organizations, locations, and time zones
What You Will Be Faced With
  • This role is critical in landing the month end results (forecast bias is one of the key goals every year and is highly visible to senior leaders)
  • There is a very high touch with key business partners including procurement buyers, and category managers
  • It is crucial to have attention to details and have knowledge of accounting principles
What You Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. MBA preferred with minimum of four years of related experience with increasing responsibility and control.
  • Prior Supply Chain Finance and/or Controllers experience preferred
  • Experience in FP&A is a plus
  • Financial information systems knowledge a huge plus including SAP and/or Power BI
  • Prior work experience in Brand, Supply Chain, Customer Development (Sales), Audit, Accounting, Financial Reporting, or Financial Planning is preferred
  • An enterprising and inquisitive nature that can find solutions to complex problems
  • Experience creating and implementing process improvement solutions
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly communicate results and implications of analysis in both verbal and written forms
  • Experience communicating effectively with all levels leadership, and experience communicating with all levels of financial acumen
  • Enjoys working in a collaborative team environment
Pay: The pay range for this position is $83,200 to $124,700. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
