Looking to hire a part-time (can work up to full time after caseload is built) associate or psychological assistant to work with a growing group private practice! We are located in Irvine; and focus primarily on treating children, adolescents, families, and maternal mental health. We are looking for passionate clinicians who are interested in learning the ins and outs of a private practice setting. Applicants must have a history of professional experience, as well as a niche(s) in how they engage in their work: i.e. children, couples, trauma, EMDR, family, etc. Drs. Chavez and Faridnia will provide all referrals. Clinician will not be expected to market themselves, as the practice has established referral sources, but clinician will be added to our practice website.

Considered candidates should be independent, driven, bright, collaborative, and enhance our connected, and positive-minded environment. We believe in keeping our knowledge bases strong and open to continued learning and education. We offer a supportive, but laid back working environment. Candidates will be responsible for their own schedules, however it should be noted that our clientele often require afternoon and evening hours. We are looking for a clinician who is comfortable seeing clients age 5 and above, and/or are open to and experienced in treating adults. Clinician is open to taking as many cases as they feel comfortable with, however we are looking for clinicians willing to maintain a caseload of at least 15 to 20 clients.

We are a growing group practice comprised of a variety of mental health professionals, including post doctoral therapists, master’s level associates, and doctorate level interns, who value providing high quality individual, family, and group psychotherapy. We are currently offering the ability to work with a hybrid schedule where clinicians can see clients in person as well as virtually. Clinician can work solely in person, however we are not offering a completely virtual position at this time.

Supervision - one hour of individual and one hour group supervision will be provided each week (paid). Supervision is provided by regiestered play therapist supervisors.

All billing will be completed by practice administration

All overhead, rent, office supplies, etc (once we return to office setting)

· HIPAA compliant electronic progress note and treatment planning website

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $35.00 to $45.00/ client hour depending on degree type and level of experience.
