Valiant has an exciting opportunity for an Authorities and Coordination (AC) Project Coordinator supporting the
Defense Threat Reduction Agency’s (DTRA) Adversarial Assessments program. The Adversarial Assessment
program provides a unique capability in emulating an independent, multidisciplinary adversary assessment
providing a true “outside looking in” perspective. Adversarial types emulated by the team include foreign
intelligence entities, Level II Asymmetric threats, insider threats, and terrorist organizations. The AC Project
Coordinator is primarily responsible for assessment and project coordination.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Mastering an understanding of the assessment program’s approved activities.
  • Providing input to the Government on all course(s) of action/ concept of operation(s) from the ground team

before and during assessment.

  • Coordinating with the AC Manager, Red Analysis Branch, Cyber Managers, customers, and partner organizations as necessary or directed.
  • Supporting the planning and coordination of assessment activities.
  • Working collaboratively and professionally with USG military and/or civilian personnel.
  • Attending and participating in relevant Department, Directorate, and Agency trainings, meetings, or other efforts

to enable the Department, Directorate, and Agency to align its missions.

  • Sharing information gathered during assessments and works as part of an integrated DTRA team on assessments.
  • Informing leadership on authorities, policies, and operational procedures related to adversarial assessments.
  • Providing logistical support when directed or necessary.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline.
  • Be a US citizen.
  • Be eligible for a TS/SCI level clearance.
  • Have or be able to obtain required active professional certifications and trainings as directed by Valiant or the

Government.

  • Be able to travel on short notice, work non-standard hours and take on-call duty.
  • Be capable of performing under Government direction or independently when directed in all operational and physical

environments including austere locations.

  • Be ready to brief, present or collaborate on areas of subject matter expertise
  • Adhere to CDC recommended immunizations for worldwide deployment.
  • Obtain and main a valid US Passport.
  • Possess effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Be capable of preparing written reports, white papers, and PowerPoint presentations.

DESIRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience working with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, preferably within the Nuclear Enterprise.
  • Previous experience working with COCOMS, Joint Staff, or similar levels elements.
  • Previous experience with intergovernmental or international partnership programs.
  • Currently possess a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Five years’ experience working assessment related activities.
