Manager, Automation Maintenance
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Staff, train, evaluate and develop maintenance team members.
· Develop and maintain Maintenance team members schedules to meet business demands.
· Maintain communication between maintenance and the operations team.
· Attends operation team meetings and provides maintenance updates.
· Partners with the operations and engineering team to continually develop system efficiencies and improve system performance.
· Create labor and OPEX budget and manage within budget.
· Ensure that the team follow LOTO procedure and the company’s safety policy.
· Schedule and assign corrective and preventive maintenance and work orders to the technicians to prevent breakdown and maintain equipment efficiency.
· Serve as the subject matter expert within a day-to-day operation on equipment, reliability, and processes and provide facility maintenance support.
· Lead project management to aid in the achievement of departmental initiatives.
· Utilize Vertique interfaces for troubleshooting and function locations.
· Utilize SAP to perform the following:
o Complete weekly payroll.
o Generate parts request to ensure adequate inventory.
o Maintain inventory accuracy utilizing cycle and full inventory counts as per company policy.
o Schedule, assign, and complete preventive and unscheduled work orders.
o Submit weekly and monthly reporting of work order status and inventory value.
o Maintain maintenance plans.
o Create and review maintenance plan following manufacture’s manuals using SAP.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Thorough understanding of mechanical engineering.
· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
· Excellent root cause analysis.
· Excellent troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
· Maintenance Management Software experience, preferably SAP.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed.
· Prolonged periods of walking and standing.
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree or advanced certification in mechanical engineering preferred.
· 3-5 years of experience in automation/manufacturing industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $87,599.00 - $105,000.00 per year
