Due to a HUGE increase in traffic in our service department we are looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor. Our service department has never been busier! Come be a part of one of the most important departments in the dealership – the service department! Service writers are responsible for smoothly facilitating a customer’s service experience from start to finish to achieve 5 star reviews from clients. Dealership experience with CDK preferred. Ford experience a plus.

Our Automotive Service Advisor is responsible for the handling of sales and satisfaction levels to all customers of the service department.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Meet with customers and determine their needs for repair and/or service of their vehicle issues
  • Increase customer satisfaction by building customer relations.
  • Maintain the company’s standards for ethical business practices, professional image, orderliness, customer service and good employee and community relations.
  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and updating customers frequently
  • Increase profitability by maximizing sales & execute retail promotions.
  • Responsible for overseeing the technician working on customers’ vehicle including their time management/efficiency, parts ordering, job completion times.
  • Oversee and participate in quality control.
  • Participate in the development and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures as appropriate.

Qualifications and Skills

Must have excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate in person, over the phone and in writing as well as strong interpersonal and customer services skills

Ability to meet deadlines, organized, prioritize assignments, and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment required.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be willing to submit to a background check & drug screen
  • 2+ years’ experience in similar positions
  • Must speak fluent English, Spanish is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Day range:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Multilingual helpful: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

  • English (Preferred)
  • Spanish (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Preferred)
