At Jacky Jones Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Cleveland, our Service Department is growing, and we need experienced Auto Service Advisors / Writers to keep up with customer demand. As a Service Advisor/Writer, you will be the customer’s front-line experience with our service department. We value our employees and invest in their success.

Responsibilities - Service Advisor:

• Greet and consult customers on service needs, perform a thorough vehicle walk around inspection as part of the write-up
• Sell and up-sell services by emphasizing value
• Build strong customer relationship and sell the technicians’ time
• Field all live service calls
• Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service
• Drive the sale of technicians' time to meet departments sales forecast
• Prioritize required services, and be prepared to provide options upon request
• Keep customer informed on completion times, service expenses, and possible changes
• Ensure customer has a positive dealership experience
• Know the product well enough to answer characteristic and operational questions regarding the customer’s vehicle
• Ability to act as a Team Player, working well with all members of staff
• Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether by phone or in person, to assure the customer has a positive service experience

Requirements - Service Advisor:

• Good customer service skills, sales skills, and the ability to multi-task are key for this position
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Automotive Experience is preferred
• Valid in-state driver’s license
• Professional personal appearance
• A People Person with excellent communication skills
• Resume must be uploaded, and online assessment completed for immediate consideration.
• Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
• Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen.
