Automotive Technician/Mechanic

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Automotive Technician that is energetic, upbeat, and has a positive attitude. The technician will seek out positive solutions for sometimes tough problems while always doing right by our customers.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Technicians use their knowledge and skills to diagnose and repair customer vehicles.
• Complete full, accurate, and honest vehicle inspections and document findings.
• Work as a team with other employees.
• Work closely with service department to remedy any customer concerns.
• Work with all employees involved to deliver the highest distinguished results.
• Work in a efficient manner.
• Strong communication skills a must.

Technicians will be utilized in other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Positive attitude and a desire to serve customers.
• 3 years of experience as a automotive technician/mechanic.
• ASE certifications preferred but not required.
• Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes and models of vehicles.
• Have experience on a alignment machine, or be willing to learn.
• Understand suspension and be able to do all kinds of suspension work( Ball joints, Tie rods, Shocks, Struts, Complete Brake Repair, CV Axle Replacement, Alignments etc.)
• Perform Lube Oil and Filter Change.
• Knowledge to change tires and operate a tire machine, or be willing to learn.
• Will have his/her own tools to do the job functions.
• Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.

A desire for a long term career environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Occasionally lift and/or move over a 100 pounds.
• Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head.
• Work in tight spaces as dictated bye specific vehicle repairs.
• Walk and stand for majority of work day.
• Drive manual transmission vehicles.

Efficiently navigate a computer.

Salary: $18.00 - $38.00 per hour
