Job Purpose or Objective(s): Directly manages catered event to ensure the proper set-up, execution, tear-down and completion of the event as specified in the Banquet Event Order. You will report to the Banquet Manager.

Primary Tasks:

• You will collaborate with Catering/Sales, Food & Beverage managers and the culinary team to ensure that quality service is provided for all meeting and banquet guests.

• You will maintain all equipment and facilities in an organized, clean, safe environment

• You will ensure front and back of the house are maintained in a clean fashion.

• Know the menu for each function served and be able to explain the major ingredients and preparation methods for each item to be served.

• Work with the host to respond to any special requests or last-minute adjustments.

• Manage clean-up, inventory, and storage of supplies and equipment.

• Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refer the matter to management.

• Perform monthly inventories and order supplies in collaboration with the Banquet Manager

• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Ability to obtain ServSafe Certification.

• Self- motivated skills.

• Knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations.

• One (1) year of Banquet Server experience
