Job description
The Behavioral Health Director provides oversight to the (FSST) Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribal Health Center/Behavioral Health Department. The department is comprised of two components: Mental Health and Substance Abuse & Prevention Services. The Director provides and supervises culturally relevant mental health services and substance abuse services appropriate to the specialized therapeutic needs of the tribal population. Responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating the mental health program at the facility, including development of mental health program policies and protocols. Will supervise behavioral health staff.
Education and/or experience: Masters in Mental Health or Social Work (PIP) with at least five (5) years of clinical and supervisory experience. Psychologist preferred.

- Valid Driver’s license

- Pass a pre-employment drug test
- Pass a Public law 101-630 background investigation
