Overview:
This job will have you working on the front lines of the opioid epidemic in rural southern Illinois. Play a key role in shaping education and initial treatment in a several-county area in this full-time role.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate to review clinical and behavioral health workflows for effectiveness, implementation, and ongoing evaluation. Consult with community agencies and RCORP consortium members working to implement substance use and opioid use treatment. Identify and offer clinical training to Chestnut staff and to RCORP stakeholders. Conduct regular outreach. Develop needs assessments, disparity impact statements, and educational materials, being sure to meet the cultural and communication needs of underserved populations.

Promote the recovery model of treatment including trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness, and spirituality/connectedness.
Qualifications:
College degree in behavioral health or related field (Master’s plus two years’ related experience or Bachelor’s plus five years’ experience). Knowledge of prevention, treatment, and recovery program development. Experience working with clients in the behavioral health field. Experience developing trainings and presentations. Leadership skills. Ability to collaborate. Advanced Microsoft Office, Zoom videoconferencing, and online reporting systems skills. Valid driver’s license, private auto insurance, must be insurable and have home internet connection. Ability to travel throughout Illinois counties in the focus area, including but not limited to Bond, Clinton, Madison, Marion and St. Clair.
