This is an hourly position that will provide assistance to the Behavioral Health Navigation Team staff for daily operations support. Position duties includes, but not limited to: Provide day to day support to team, complete administrative tasks and functions, provide phone support as needed, assist clients with registering for service to expedite access.

Essential Duties/Requirements/Activities:

  • Build a working knowledge of the mental health system of care.
  • Assists in scheduling appointments for clients, completing reports and tracking documents, ordering supplies and maintaining support tasks.

Qualifications:

Education:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Experience:

One year general office or medical office experience preferred. Experience in Healthcare can substitute.

Certifications:

None

Training:

Attend all PRC software, clinical and administrative educational functions as deemed appropriate by supervisor. Complete all trainings required by Peace River Center

Knowledge and Skills:

Demonstrates strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills required with excellent communication skills.

Basic computer skills and basic knowledge of software including Microsoft Work, Excel, and Outlook.

Capability to quickly master the Electronic Health Record and its system processes.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize conflicting demands.

Bilingual preferred.

Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and consists of exposure to physical conditions typical of a normal office environment. The populations cared for will include patients who are confused, delusional, irrational, agitated, or uncooperative. Most of the job is performed while sitting, although the work may require occasional standing or walking and/or the lifting and carrying of small objects. A small amount of travel may be required for meetings etc. to another PRC location.

Pay: $15.92 - $17.00 per hour
