Job description
Provide youth with in-person therapeutic support services such as recreation, life skill training, problem solving skills, and anger management. Help to improve the clients’ well-being and functioning through community-based activities, modeling professional behavior and boundaries, and responding with a trauma-informed approach to behavioral management. Adhering to policies and procedures, you will communicate professionally to all team members and through documentation in the clients’ electronic health record. A behavior specialist needs to have the ability to support youth’s spiritual and cultural background, gender identity, and sexual orientation through culturally competent behaviors. Must maintain a driver’s license and safely transport clients to and from treatment activities contained in the treatment plan.
Hours
Position is full time and includes the following:
- 3.2 weeks of Paid Time Off during the first year

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in a social science field, or a High School Diploma with at least three years’ experience. Experience is defined as working with youth in any mental health field.
