Toxikon Corporation, founded in 1977, is a contract research organization and testing company located in Bedford, MA. Our mission is to provide quality pre-clinical product safety and efficacy testing services, competitively priced, with on-time delivery for the medical device, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology industry.
We are currently seeking a Billing Associate to join our Accounting staff. The qualified person should have experience in performing daily processing of invoices, including progress billing of testing services. The person will also be responsible for preparing and processing outgoing mail and filing.
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong organizational and time management
- Solid communication skills
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Capability to share in departmental tasks
- A self-starter
- Work independently
- Ability to take initiative
Education & Experience:
Associates degree preferred
- 1-2 years of experience working in a Science or Technology industry
- Experience with ACCPAC and Gemini Matrix LIMS (laboratory management systems) desirable.
