As a Birthday Party Associate you will help to ensure fun and entertaining events take place at the Lynch/van Otterloo YMCA for youth and families. On a regular day you will ensure the safe and fun execution of birthday parties including the timely set-up, transition, and clean-up of equipment and materials, engage participants in activities so no one is left out of the fun, inform visitors of the wide variety programs and activities available at the YMCA acting as an ambassador while providing exceptional customer service to all.
To thrive in this role, you have excellent time management skills and a keen attention to detail. You enjoy leading activities, sports, and games, working directly with children, and you have the ability to use sound judgement in the event of the unexpected. You are responsible and a natural leader. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in gaining experience in events or working with children in a recreational setting.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be available Sundays from 10am - 4:00pm based on rental schedules
