The role is a great fit for someone experienced in professional services bookkeeping. You will be accountable for accurate books and reports, managing accounts receivable and billing, some job costing, and providing insights into the financial results for our clients. We need a team player who is passionate, has high energy, is results-oriented, and is a good problem solver. This position may evolve into a key leadership role with excellent long-term potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Update financials, including but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly reconciliations, and payroll processing.
• Weekly management reports
• Monthly management reports
• Real-time accurate books with a 10-day close (target) using QuickBooks Online, Xero, and QuickBooks Enterprise
• Responsible for the successful and on-time delivery of projects, including all work efforts required to deliver (including functional and technical aspects).
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client accounts.
  
• Drive improvement initiatives for the finance process.

Qualifications:

• Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) skills
• Highly proficient in QuickBooks Online
• Ability to create easy-to-read reporting
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Solid decision-making skills
  
• Strong organizational, multitasking and prioritizing skills
• Able to contribute to other work efforts as needed
• Ability to self motivate and be challenged with a positive attitude
  
• 2 year college degree in accounting (minimum), prefer a 4-year degree
• Proven experience in bookkeeping for a growing business
