General:

The Branch Manager is responsible for all customer service, operational & branch office upkeep functions and the personnel performing those functions within the particular facility.

Employment Status: Salaried Manager/ Administration Department Full-Time (45-50 hours/week expected) Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (minimum)

Responsible To: CEO and Senior Staff

Responsibilities :

• Recommending and measuring proper equipment and supplies for patients.
• Provides external sales relations with referring parties as well as medical professionals who influence referral channels. Outside Marketing Requirement's to generate business for branch office.
• Maintains direct contact with Medical Professionals, Clinic Personal, Hospital Staff, and Patients
• Marketing and Sales 50% of your time
• Follow-up on equipment furnished to patients in the home or hospital, including warranties and repair on equipment.
• Ensuring stock levels in inventory are kept with accordance to the needs of the branch: ordering, pricing and inventory levels.
• Interviews and recommends for hiring, new personnel, and oversees orientation and ensures adequate training for those employees. Thereafter, oversees the establishment of priorities and work delegation of personnel.
• Originates disciplinary warnings, when necessary, and consults with the Senior Staff relative to reprimands and/or discharge of all personnel.
• Further, ensures that corporate personnel policies are and implemented & followed in accordance with company policy.
• Maintains files on all patients on types of equipment and repairs furnished.
• Works with the rest of management to meet all customer requirements.
• Answers incoming phone calls, takes customer orders.
• Communicates and resolves problems with patients, referral sources, and insurance companies.
• Services walk-in customers.
• Approves all orders into the patient database for confirmation.
• Submits daily work orders to accounts receivable and/or to file
• Oversees the documentation & service aspects essential for comprehensive: customer service, operational management & accounts receivable of the branch.
• Performs other duties as requested by the General Manager.

Qualifications:

Education:

Experience/ - A minimum of three years experience with durable medical equipment

OR

Bachelor’s Degree in either business, marketing, or healthcare specialty.

- Basic knowledge of DME marketing.

- Ability to direct and supervise.

- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

BRANCH MANAGER continued:

Supervises: Satellite Branch & Personnel

Physical Requirement: In an 8 hour day the employee lifts/carries up to 30 lbs. frequently.

In an 8 hour day the employee stands/walks up to 8 hours.

In an 8 hour day the employee sits up to 8 hours.

In an 8 hour day the employee drives a car/truck up to 4 hours.
