General Summary:

Receive and disburse money.

Job functions:

• Answer customers' questions, and provide information procedures or policies

• Bag, box, wrap and gift-wrap merchandise if needed

• Compute and record totals of transactions

• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change

• Greet customers entering establishments

• Establish or identify prices of goods, services and tabulate bills using calculators or cash registers

• Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas

• Offer customers carry-out service at the completion of transactions

• Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits

• Request information or assistance using paging systems

• Sort, count, and wrap currency and coins

• Weigh items sold by weight in order to determine prices

Other Job Functions:

Perform additional duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
