Cashiers promote Mackenthun's Exceptional Experience by greeting each customer with a smile and offering assistance, and working with other employees as needed.

Job duties:

• Mackenthun's Cashiers are expected to accurately process customer orders at the check out, accept payments, and provide correct change as necessary.
• Offer assistance, answer customer questions, make sure customer's purchases are promptly and properly bagged, this includes bagging groceries as needed.
• Maintain a neat and organized work station.
• Assist with stocking products and facing products on shelves.
• Assist with general store maintenance and cleaning.
• Cashiers may be cross-trained in the C-Store.
• Other duties as requested.

• Must express a positive, friendly attitude, have the ability to focus on customer needs and provide customers an exceptional experience,
• Must be able to work independently and as a team, have solid problem solving skills and excellent decision making capabilities.
• Must have an interest in selling food and promoting Mackenthun's Exceptional Experience for customers and coworkers.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior retail experience is preferred but not required.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Ability to prioritize and efficiently perform duties; be accurate, honest and dependable.
• Perform all duties in a manner that safeguards company property, resources and image.
• Must be able to work between 7 AM and 4 PM, weekend rotations are required.
