The story of KLE Construction is one of family, hard work, and the love of building things.
We are currently looking for Dump Truck, Side Dump & Heavy Haul Truck Driver(s) with a solid history of team work and professionalism to join the KLE Construction team constructing City Roads, Highways, Windfarms and Other Large Infrastructure Projects!
Purpose: Haul materials such as aggregates and other things that are needed for job completion. Responsible for filling out required paperwork and/or obtaining permits as necessary. Along with the CDL responsibilities they are also required to work manual labor, perform maintenance on equipment and work with a crew as necessary.
Required abilities and skills

  • Read and Understand English
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Class A CDL w/a clean motor vehicle record
  • Hazmat endorsement a plus
  • At least 3 years of truck driving experience
  • Understanding of FMSCA regulations and rules
  • Knowledge of ELD systems and accurate use of logs and DVIRs
  • Understanding of tools, equipment and safe practices
  • Able to do minor repairs and troubleshoot equipment/semi issues
  • Able to lift at least 60lbs or more
  • Able to work long hours in all types of weather conditions
  • Capable of working with a crew and able to maintain good work ethics and communication
  • Ability to pass a drug test
  • Valid Driver’s License w/ clean MVR
  • Medical Examination Card Current
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment a plus!! (Excavators, backhoes and loaders etc.)

Essential Functions

  • Pick up dirt/materials/aggregates from one area and transport to another
  • Cooperate with DOT inspection officers when necessary
  • Plan routes to meet delivery schedules
  • know and apply road restrictions in state of North Dakota or any other applicable state
  • Track mileage and fuel according to IFTA standards
  • Maintain equipment at DOT regulations
  • Inspect truck before and after each shift report any defects
  • Other labor as needed for KLE construction
  • Clean work area, company vehicles, tools and equipment
  • Report any and all accidents and incidents immediately to safety manager
  • Promote good client/public relations
  • Work cooperatively with those contracted in the course of the work
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Perform all work in accordance with applicable rules and regulations of the company handbook
  • Perform all work in a safe manner according to company policies and HSE manual
